The Karran Matrix Steel Undermount Workstation Sink combines a seamless below-counter profile with the Matrix integrated workstation ledge, the feature that sets this sink apart from every standard undermount on the market. The built-in ledge keeps accessories over the basin and off the counter, turning the sink into a complete prep and clean-up zone. Available in Stainless Steel or Gunmetal Grey, the Matrix undermount suits modern and transitional kitchens equally well. The undermount installation creates a smooth, uninterrupted countertop surface ideal for stone, quartz, and solid-surface materials.

The embossed hex pattern pressed into all five interior surfaces is inspired by nature's strongest geometric structure and does real work inside the basin. It adds structural rigidity, reduces direct contact between cookware and the sink floor to minimize scratching, and gives the interior a look that is distinctly Matrix. A durable PVD finish on both color options protects against scratching, fading, and corrosion over years of daily use. Nano protection repels water spots and mineral buildup while improving drainage. The sandblasted underside creates a secure countertop bond at installation, and R10 inner corners keep the basin easy to clean while the sharp R0 ledge edge maintains the sink's contemporary profile.

The recessed workstation ledge built into the sink wall is what makes the Matrix a genuine workstation sink. An eco-friendly fiberboard cutting board with R5 corners, precision-matched to the sink's R0 profile, slides over the basin with fluid grooves on one side for prep and a flat surface on the other. The FDA food-grade silicone roll-up drying mat provides a flexible, dishwasher-safe drying surface that stores flat. Both the cutting board and drying mat are dishwasher safe. The basket strainer features a sandblasted cap in a matching finish for a clean, modern look.

Built from T304 stainless steel at 16-gauge thickness, the Matrix undermount delivers the solid, substantial feel of a professional-grade fixture. T304 steel resists corrosion and moisture, critical for a sink installed directly against the underside of a countertop. Center-rear drain placement in each bowl maximizes usable cabinet storage space below and reduces water pooling around dishes during use. The 16-gauge construction handles heavy cookware and high-volume kitchen activity without flexing or wearing down over time.

The Matrix Undermount series is available in multiple configurations: a 32" x 18-3/4" double bowl (9" depth, min. 36" cabinet), a 32" x 18-3/4" large single bowl (9" depth, min. 36" cabinet), a 24" x 18-3/4" single bowl (9" depth, min. 27" cabinet), and a 17" x 17" bar sink (9" depth, min. 21" cabinet). All models feature R10 corners and a standard 3-1/2" drain opening compatible with most garbage disposals. Includes roll-up drying mat, eco-friendly fiberboard cutting board, and basket strainer(s) with sandblasted cap(s). cUPC certified with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
