Quartz composite construction gives this apron front sink its durability, formed from 80% natural quartz and acrylic resin into a dense, non-porous surface that resists scratching, staining, and impact without requiring any sealing. Because the surface does not absorb liquids or food residue, both bowls stay hygienic and clean up with mild soap and water. Rated heat safe to 535 degrees Fahrenheit, the material handles the everyday heat of a busy kitchen, from boiling water drained directly to cast iron set near the basin, without stress fractures or surface damage. The dense quartz also absorbs vibration, softening the noise of running water and cookware in both bowls.
