Built for the active kitchen, this quartz composite of 80% natural quartz crystals and acrylic resin is engineered to withstand continuous pressure without staining, scratching, or chipping, and it never requires sealing. Unlike traditional stone, this composite non-porous barrier prevents the absorption of food residue and the growth of microbes, so the surface stays hygienic and wipes clean with mild soap and water. Rated heat safe to 535 degrees Fahrenheit, it handles the thermal shock of hot pots and sudden temperature changes without risk of stress fractures.
