This sink is formed from a quartz composite of 80% natural quartz crystals bonded with acrylic resin, a dense, non-porous material that resists stains, scratches, and impacts while never needing to be sealed. Because the surface does not absorb water, food residue, or odors, it stays hygienic and wipes clean with nothing more than mild soap and water. It is heat safe to 535 degrees Fahrenheit and handles the thermal shock of a hot pot pulled straight from the stove without the risk of stress fractures.
